- Maureen's prose piece, "Papercut," has been chosen as Editor's Choice for Prose in the Fifth Annual International Ultra-Short Competition sponsored by The Binnacle at The University of Maine at Machias.
- Coming March 2008: Praying at Coffee Shops, a book of Jewish poems, published by Main Street Rag.
- Maureen's short story, Neighborhood Watch, will appear in MSU's journal READ THIS.

- Maureen's fiction chapbook, A Comic Tale, was a finalist in the 2007 Noemi Press Chapbook Award.
